Wish you were here?

Great Auntie Quiz has been on holiday all over England and sent us some postcards. As a pointer when Great Auntie Quiz is from Kent, specifically Swanley. Question is where has she been?

1. I have had a lovely time looking at the Abbey here where that Dracula was set. Met lots of young people dressed in black.
2. Went on the longest pier in the world. Although frankly I wish I had not bothered as it is rubbish. It does have a train on the pier though. Quirky.
3. Very excited went to the tower ballroom it was all very strictly come dancing. I remember when I used to go there with Great Uncle Quiz. Lots of trams. The lights are not on though. Shame.
4. This week we saw a parade in this lovely seaside town! Full of lots of happy people flying all rainbow flags and everything. Nice to see so many young people having fun.
5. Went to see this town. Brought along your cousin Kenneth who is a sports bore. He tells me the football team in the town are nicknamed the cherries. I had a feast ice cream, that is not a clue it is just a little of literary window dressing to add to this question.
6. We are a bit closer to home here. We went to a grotto full of shells it was all very spooky. Then we tried to go that swanky new art gallery on the seafront but it is closed on Mondays for some inexplicable reason.
7. Had a lovely Cornish Pasty here. I thought that programme with the man who does silly walks and does not want to talk about the war was set here.
8. Local one this one. Visited some caves. We used to shelter in them during the war. That it where I met your Great Uncle god bless his soul. Did you know Vincent Van Gogh used to live here? He went mental did you know? Lovely flowers though.
9. We are in North East Lincolnshire. Cousin Kenneth (he is wearing an anorak but it is not raining) tells me that Grimsby play here but we are not in Grimsby. Weird.
10.  Oh another local one.  Apparently, they have a Folk Festival on at the end of this week. Also, that Mr Charles Dickens used to live here.
